Hi! There are 2 beautiful mature Linden trees across the street from us. Very recently the guy who lives in that property hired someone to cut back / prune both trees. Both have already seasonally lost a lot of leaves, the thinner of the two has lost most of its leaves due to it being well into Fall here. I don't understand exactly why people to choose to cut so many branches/limbs off mature trees, but anyway, a bit concerned I took a photo in the Picture This app and the result said the tree was "Sick" with possibilities being dying or dormant. Can you get a sense from these photos of this tree will be okay and live? Could the very recent cutting have caused trauma and sickness in the tree, or is that not possible? Thanks for any info and insights here!
My tree has not been looking good this year. In the spring I noticed some holes that look like some kind of pest but my pest control people said it's no big deal. It also has some mold looking stuff on the trunk (see pic). Then, this fall the leaves changed and fell off earlier than the surrounding trees while I also noticed little balls of shriveled up leaves maybe (see pic). I'm no expert at all and I have no idea what kind of tree it is so any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Alex thanks for taking the time to check my trees health and spray on Monday.
I keep watering and spruce looks more alive.
I was wondering what and when would I use for the spruce soil care. I have used fertilizer spikes but didn’t this Spring.
Hi community just recently noticed my 30 year old spruce tree seems to have a problem.
I need help don’t want to lose this wonderful tree. I hope my pruning in late May isn’t the cause. Also there are nymph lanterns around .
